Is this your situation?
This page is for people who:
- Submitted a Claim before January 13, 2023
- Received a letter from the Administrator saying their Claim was not eligible
- May have school records or other information they did not include in their original Claim
If you are not sure whether this applies to you, contact Class Counsel or the Administrator.
What this means for your Claim
Receiving a letter of ineligibility does not always mean your situation cannot be reviewed.
If you have evidence that may show you are eligible, like school records, you may be able to submit that information.
Canada will review any new information. If Canada agrees that you are eligible, the Administrator will reprocess your original Claim.
Getting school records
You may be able to request your school records through an Access to Information and Privacy (ATIP) request.
Class Counsel can help you understand this process.
How to contact us
Class Counsel offers free legal support to Claimants.
They can help you understand your situation and whether new information may help your Claim.
