June 6, 2022: The Federal Court granted a motion to correct periods of eligibility for Rossville Day School in Manitoba, Quinte Mohawk Day School in Ontario and Indian Cove/Pictou Landing in Nova Scotia

The new periods of eligibility for each school is as follows:

Rossville Day School
September 1, 1875, to September 1, 1957
(added) June 30, 1967, to August 31, 1968

Quinte Mohawk Day School
(added) September 1, 1955, to August 31, 1960
September 1, 1960, to September 1, 1997

Indian Cove/Pictou Landing (transposition of year corrected)
(old) 1880 to June 30, 1985
(new) 1880 to June 30, 1958

Notice of these changes will be communicated to potentially impacted Survivor Class Members and Band Councils within the affected communities.

Class Members, who have already filed a Claim Form, and who may be impacted by these changes, will be contacted directly by the Claims Administrator.
